Mr Mak Tare is the UK and internationally trained Consultant Plastic Surgeon. He offers a full range of cosmetic surgery, skin cancer surgery and hand surgery services at the Centre.

His clinical interests involve aesthetic facial surgery (eyelids, facelift, crooked nose correction by rhinoplasty, pinnaplasty for prominent ears), breasts augmentation/uplift/reduction, gynaecomastia (man boobs), tummy tuck and liposuction to thighs, calf and arms for contouring and labiaplasty. He offers the non-surgical aesthetic treatment i.e. botulinum toxin injection for facial wrinkles, and excessive sweating in armpits. He also offers the dermal fillers for facial rejuvenation and deep wrinkles.

As a consultant Plastic Surgeon in the renowned St Andrews Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery at Broomfield Hospital Chelmsford, Mak Tare offers complex reconstructive procedures for upper and lower limb reconstruction, Hand Surgery, Skin cancer and general plastic surgery services. Mak Tare regularly attends various national and international meetings to present his clinical work. He has published his clinical work in the international peer-reviewed Journals of Plastic Surgery. He has regularly delivered lectures as an invited guest speaker in various conferences. Mak has also co-authored a chapter in the book of Hand Surgery.

Mak Tare is passionately involved in training young UK and international Plastic Surgery trainees at St Andrew’s Centre of Plastic Surgery.

Mak runs his clinical practice following the principles of integrity, transparency and innovation. During the consultation, Mak goes through every minute detail related to the procedure.
